My most recent Quinlan Vos drawing. I've been experimenting with figure drawing more and foreshortening of limbs and bodies, something I've never learned but which is probably the most common comic book convention. The complaint about much comic book art is that you know exactly what to expect when you open the cover, and I think that should change, with much more diversity in the artists and the art.

  1. Wanna know another common comic book art trick? Slightly enlarge the hands of male characters, especially if they're fighters. Take a look at Batman for example, hes always drawn with massive hands.
